ETHICS TRUMP POWER BOOK

Redefine Leadership - It Starts with Ethics, Not Power

Ethics Trump Power challenges conventional leadership by shifting the focus from authority to integrity. Through personal stories and practical insights, Stephen Scott explores how discipline, ethics, and purpose shape truly impactful leaders.

Anyone aspiring to or currently in a leadership role. The 15 Disciplines does not discriminate as it is a universal model proven to make an impact from the C-Suite to the frontline. That is what so many leaders love about the program  - it helps everyone in an organisation to connect productively using a common language.

Who is the 15 Disciplines Program For?

We can do it but choose not to. Our approach to developing leaders is based upon a social capital approach we come to your organisation and work with a group to socialise the leadership concepts. This approach has proven to be better as we see immediate improvements in both individual leadership and organisational outcomes.

Do you run leadership programs that I can send a member of my executive team to?

We have found the optimal size of a leadership learning environment is 15 to 16 people. This guarantees that people can engage often but also pause to reflect on what they are learning from their colleagues.

What is a typical leadership program size?

You get to choose that but we highly recommend the first two days are completed back to back. Following that we recommend about 1 month between the remaining days. It is not essential, but it does give the participants plenty of time to reflect on and practice what they have learnt, before they return to absorb more information.

What is the typical structure that your 5 day leadership program follows?

Once you confirm a program with us, we dispatch individual copies of the ‘Ethics Trump Power’ book for each participant to read before day 1. At day one of the program, all participants will receive a 12 month subscription to our online learning resources that will give them access to videos, articles, course notes, quizzes, and an audiobook version of The 15 Disciplines – The Essential Checklist for Productive Leaders. They will also have access to a digital journal to record all their insights and progressively work through an assignment.

What does each participant receive as a participant in your leadership program?

We come to you or we meet you at an offsite location of your choice.  All we need is a room that comfortably accommodates U shaped seating for 16 with some breakout areas. A whiteboard, digital screen and a table for our facilitator’s resources is all we need.

Where do your run the programs?

Yes, ongoing support options are available, including check-ins, coaching, and access to additional resources to help you maintain momentum.

Can you tailor workshops to deal with unique leadership challenges?

FAQ's

SCOTS PGC made a conscious choice three years ago to invest in our current and future leaders through The 15 Disciplines program facilitated by ETHICLEAD.  Our involvement in the program has resulted in over 40 leaders from all areas of the college being exposed to the power of the leadership principles espoused and demonstrated by ETHICLEAD...

In conjunction with expert facilitation skills, the process enabled us to unlock the power of the people in the room to build the foundations of our strategic plan for the coming years.

Our involvement with ETHICLEAD has enhanced our ability to build the capacity of our people and the organisation.
