After years in the Air Force, ETHICLEAD founder, Steve Scott, learned firsthand the challenges and opportunities of leadership. From teaching leadership at the RAAF College to leading high-performing teams under pressure, Steve experienced how gaps in alignment, strategy, and governance could derail even the most disciplined teams.

Samantha Holzberger
Samantha Holzberger is ETHICLEAD’s Strategy and Operations Lead, known for her strategic thinking, operational leadership, and unwavering attention to detail. Since joining the team in 2016, Sam has been instrumental in launching the Principals’ Roundtable, co-developing STRATEGIST and The 15 Disciplines Program, and overseeing the design and publication of two leadership books.
With a background in managing complex priorities across diverse sectors, she ensures the seamless delivery of ETHICLEAD’s programs - coordinating events, liaising with clients, and supporting facilitators nationwide. Sam is a driving force behind the organisation’s growth and its ability to deliver practical, high-impact leadership development.
Tammy Wilson
Tammy Wilson is ETHICLEAD's Strategic Engagement and Partnerships lead, bringing more than 25 years of experience in strategic engagement, communications, partnerships, philanthropy, and organisational growth across the education, government, healthcare, and not-for-profit sectors.
Throughout her career, Tammy has held senior leadership roles spanning enrolments, advancement, stakeholder engagement, governance, communications, and business development. Having worked with boards, executives, community leaders, and government decision-makers in both Australia and the United Kingdom, she is known for building trusted relationships, translating complex challenges into practical action, and helping organisations achieve their strategic goals through values-based leadership and strong community engagement.
Stephen Scott
Stephen Scott is an author, strategic leadership practitioner and founder of ETHICLEAD, with more than four decades of experience in leadership practice and development.
For more than 15 years, Stephen has worked extensively within Australia’s independent school sector, developing principals, aspiring principals and executive leaders. His contribution includes designing and facilitating leadership development for Independent Schools Queensland’s New and Aspiring Principals programs, mentoring hundreds of school leaders, and serving as Chair of Council of an independent school.
Stephen brings a strong academic and professional foundation to his work, combining formal education with extensive board and executive experience. His 22 years of leadership experience in the Royal Australian Air Force and 20 years developing leaders through ETHICLEAD bring a breadth of experience that complements his deep understanding of education.
Author of Ethics Trump Power and The 15 Disciplines: The Essential Checklist for Productive Leaders, and creator of The 15 Disciplines leadership framework, Stephen’s work today focuses on helping schools strengthen the leadership and strategic capability they need to shape their future with purpose and confidence.
